Project Description: Scene sequences from six operas were integrated into a conceptual whole by setting the entire program in a contemporary bar. The characters from the various operas were drawn to meet in this bar by virtue of a fictional online dating site called “Crazy in Love”. Via projected images, this online dating idea was made clear through projections of “profiles”, which gave the audience a very brief synopsis of the upcoming scene.
