Production Concept: Higglety Pigglety Pop! was on a double bill with an 85 minute adaptation of Die Zauberflöte, which served as a sequel to the Knussen opera, a second “play” occurring in the Mother Goose Theater and in which Jennie, the Pig and the Cat appeared and were drawn into the action, Jennie eventually “becoming” Papagena, having finally found her true love.
